Tuesday!

Tuesday, with a side of Trickster & Scotch.

New Week, New Blog Format

Good evening everyone.

I've been a bit inspired recently and from that inspiration, and the fact that I'm not lugging my laptop around to work every day anymore, I decided to change up my blog a bit.

A new traveler sketchbook and my cellphone will be the tools of this blog. That's right, I'm going back to pen (pencil) & paper sketching.

Anyway, thanks to Kenneth Rocafort for inspiring me to try something new.

He's a pretty awesome artist by the way. Go check out his works.

Anyway, see ya'll tomorrow.

Post-It Sketch: The Return

Good evening Internet-land.

Hope you all are having a relaxing evening. Inspired by an artist that did some female superhero redesigns lately I decided to try and give Electra more of a ninja flair.

Will try again sometime soon.

Enjoy.

Lunch Post-It Sketch

Hey everyone!

Today's posting comes via the Vanpool.

And the sketch was done on a Post-It.

Enjoy.

Sick Day Sketches

Once I was feeling a little better yesterday evening I did some Laura Croft and Korra sketches. Not my best, but it got the hand moving again.

Lunchtime Avatar

Just a little doodle of Ang while we waited for our lunch.

Enjoy.

Forgot One

Hey all, I forgot to post the iPhone sketch I did earlier today that inspires this evening's doodle.

Playing around with Sketchbook Mobile X.

First!!!

Well well well, good evening everyone.

I finally found the time to get a sketch done. I know, I know. You've all given up on me, and are about ready to start tearing me a new one. But let me first explain my recent absence.

I landed a new job contracting at a game company in downtown Seattle. And to help save some extra money (as well as my sanity) I joined a vanpool with some new/old coworker. But that means that I'm out the door by 7am and am usually getting home around 7pm. Which doesn't give me much time to visit with the family, eat dinner, get my daughter ready for bed and read her her stories before I have to pass out and repeat the next day.

I do have a plan to revamp my blog though. I was inspired by another artist online, who drew a comic that I really enjoyed. And will probably be starting my sketch-a-day up again, but this time in 'pencil on paper' form. Once I get the sketchbook I want.

Or option 2, try my hand at doing some sketches on my phone or on an iPad if able.

So stick with me. I'll be starting up regularly again soon. Especially since the ol' tax return should be deposited any day now.

So until then, enjoy a quick sketch I did this evening at home with my Bamboo and Sketchbook Pro.

Peace.

One From the Time Machine

Gotta make this quick as my phone is about to die. Job hunt is going good & I found this high school sketch while cleaning up some water damage in the rental.

See you all again soon.

A Change of Seasons

Good evening everyone. It's been a while

Well, since we last saw each other I have found myself to be back in the job hunt with a lot of my fellow coworkers. Not the best thing to be reporting, and it has been a crazy couple of weeks, but the wheels are turning again and I feel that good things are on their way. But if you know of a company looking for an experienced Test Lead/Tester, drop me a line.

But while I have some new free time I think that I'll return to this blog again. And to start things off, here are some sketches I did a couple of days ago. It was a 'daddy/daughter drawing hour' and this is what my paper looked like. My daughter was fascinated by the hatching and tried to do it all over her paper and a little on mine too.

Hope you like em.
